Sutton Windmill - built over 200 years ago and working until 1940 - is the tallest mill in Britain. Enjoy the Norfolk Broads countryside from the outside viewing gallery at the top.
Six buildings house the museum featuring:
· An old style smokers emporium with thousands of full packets of cigarettes, cigars and tobacco telling the story of tobacco and its influence on society
· The 1880's Pharmacy with original fittings, patent medicines and adverts
· Banknotes from 1800 onwards - remember the old 10-shilling note?
· Over 200 razors from cut throat to ladies
· All manner of boots and shoes - early 19th century to 1960s - and traditional cobblers equipment
· Milk carts, ' Stop me and buy one' tricycles and baker carts
· Broads marshmen tools and gruesome veterinary items
· Large engines including the only working Ruston 220 Twin O/C in the UK
· Every type of cleaning material imaginable plus a vast selection of kitchen and domestic equipment
