Bird watchers particularly enjoy this setting with many sightings of interesting species including Owls and the Pink footed Geese flying too and from their roosting grounds on the shores of the Wash. You have space to park one car.
The cottage is situated in a tranquil, rural location within the grounds of Snettisham House, a Grade II listed Manor House, neighbouring the Sheep and Deer herds of Park Farm.
A 15 minute elevated walk through picturesque and rolling countryside, will take you to the centre of the village of Snettisham, where you will find a range of shops, pubs and restaurants including the renowned Rose & Crown Inn.
Several peaceful and attractive walks radiate from Stable Cottage itself, to go further afield you may choose to cycle. The National Cycle route passes very nearby, taking you towards the shores of the North Norfolk coast (cycle hire available very near-by)
Snettisham Beach with its attractive Sunsets, swimming opportunities, active Sailing Club and RSPB bird reserve lies approximatly 2.5 miles to the west. A five minute drive or evan a good walk to the south will take you to the Royal Sandringham Estate with its pleasent walks or perhaps a tour around the house itself.
