Baconsthorpe is a quiet village not far from Holt, and just South of the A148. It is situated in some beautiful countryside amongst quiet lanes, perfect for cycling and walking.
It is just a short distance from the coast at Sheringham.
You can visit the extensive ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle, a moated and fortified 15th century manor house.
The Village Hall stages performances in conjunction with the Rural Arts touring scheme.
