Snettisham is located on the West coast of Norfolk along the wash between Sandringham and Heacham.
Snettisham beach is characterized by the huge expanses of sand at low-tide. The beach has an ample car park with access to shops, cafes and toilet facilities. There is also a sailing club on the beach.
At the Southern end of the beach is the Snettisham RSPB nature reserve, where once a month you can see the famous ‘Snettisham Spectacular’ as the rising water pushes thousands of wading birds off the mudflats.
There are also several inland lakes formed by disused gravel pits, some of which are part of the nature reserve, others forming part of the Snettisham sailing club.
Snettisham has holiday cottages and B&Bs and is a great place to stay for a holiday
