Seashell Cottage is a Victorian cottage with modern comforts. It is the owner's holiday home and kept to a very high standard.
This centrally heated cottage has a Wood burner Stove in the sitting room.
3 comfortable chairs, pine bookshelves with a selection of books. Freeview TV with built in DVD player. CD player. In the old pine dresser you will find a lovely china dinner service and a selection of glasses.
Modern Kitchen. Plenty of cookware etc., Microwave, Gas cooker and under work top 'fridge and a table to seat four.
Through the door you can access the pretty patio garden with table and chairs for outdoor meals.
Up the stairs from the sitting room is the double bedded master bedroom with its original Victorian non functional fireplace. Pretty Laura Ashley Curtains and Duvet cover. The bedroom has a wooden floor so bring your slippers!
The second bedroom is a pretty single bedded room, redecorated 2010.
All bed linen is provided.
Beds are made up with Duvets but we are happy to supply blankets if preferred.
The bathroom has an 'over bath shower.'
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. We supply a bath mat and hand towel.
MY COTTAGE IS ONLY RECOMMENDED FOR 2 ADULTS OR 2 ADULTS WITH A CHILD.
Sorry, but NO PETS or SMOKERS. Children over 6 welcome.
Seashell cottage is well equipped and maintained and has everything to make your stay a comfortable one.
Tea, Coffee, Milk and Sugar are provided to welcome you as are fresh flowers, and a bottle of wine. A personal welcome .. no key under the mat for us!
Please note the Cottage staircase has VERY NARROW TREADS and is quite steep .. a 'Norfolk winder!' SO NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTIES.
We CLOSE IN NOVEMBER for refurbishment.
Bookings are from FRIDAY to FRIDAY. Sorry but we do NOT do short breaks. CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR on request. WE ARE NOW FULLY FOR THIS SUMMER.

East of the coastal path that leads to Stiffkey saltmashes.
A stroll away is Staithe Street the home of traditional bakers, fishmonger, general stores and 2 butchers. Restaurants, pubs and cafes are within walking distance.
No need to get your car out as the local bus service is great!
