Inside the property

The building is thought to be about 200 years old and originally used for making sails. Between the wars used as joiner's workshop and converted into a house in mid 80's.

Used by the owners as their own holiday house until this year when they moved to live permanently in the town it retains a warm homely atmosphere and is well equipped with mod cons.

Layout:-
Ground floor - Large living room with paving stone floor and rug, a beamed ceiling and wood burning stove. Two sofas. The dining table seats up to 8.
Kitchen is two steps up from the living room.
Cloakroom with toilet handbasin.
Stairs -from the living room,open on one side with enclosed treads.

First Floor - A very large light bedroom with doors onto a small balcony,double bed,sofa and table -Can be used as second living room. A small bedroom with bunk beds of standard single bed size.
Bathroom between the two bedrooms with toilet bath, shower and basin

Second Floor - Attic bedroom reached by enclosed stairs has been roughly converted into bedroom under the eaves. Low beamed ceiling and skylights. Two single beds. Small cloakroom with toilet and basin.

We normally let the house from Friday to Friday and ask guests to arrive after 3pm and leave by 10.30am. During quiet times we can do shorter term lets. Beds equipped with pillows and duvets but normally guests supply own bed linen and towels.
