BIRDWATCHING
Norfolk is undoubtedly the finest county for birds and birdwatching. A wide variety of habitats and relatively unspoilt countryside results in a rich and diverse birdlife. Numbers and species are boosted in summer and winter by regular migrants, and the county's location is ideal for rarities from the continent. Our expert bird guide will take you around some of the best sites along the North Norfolk coast as well as famous Broadland locations.
We are also able to offer birdwatching short breaks to include accommodation at Chalet House, talks and full guided tours over two days. Please enquire for more details and cost.

GENERAL
All tours are aimed to provide a friendly atmosphere and a high level of individual attention. Tours are run throughout the year and can be either a full day or a half day. In general we will meet at the designated site with your own packed lunch as appropriate. Depending on the particular tour and numbers there may be transport available and we may be able to collect you from your home or holiday accommodation.

Roundabout Norfolk Birding is run by Roger and Janet Fickling based in Sheringham. Roger is a qualified teacher and PCV driver and has run his own bird tours in Norwich. In the past Roger and Janet have also been managers of a Youth Hostel.

PRICING
Tours are priced from £25 per person for a full day or from £15 per person for a half day to include all transport, morning coffee and personal guide.

ACCOMMODATION
We also are able to offer accommodation at Chalet House, consisiting of one ground floor twin-bedded room and one first floor double room, both with en-suite facilities. Please see the entry on this website under Norfolk Bed & Breakfast

Sheringham is one of Norfolks most quintessential seaside towns.
A wonderful selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, stalls and hotels meander all the way down to the sea front, where a good stretch of sand is exposed at low tide for families to play on.
In the centre of town in the old Station you can find one the North Norfolk Steam Railway, a fully functioning steam train which runs along from here to Holt Station.
Further around the coast to the East a clifftop path leads to Beeston Bump, one of the highest points along the Norfolk coast which affords excellent views over the surrounding area. The town has plenty going on, with a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, and the Sheringham Little Theatre.
