Banner Advertising – Make Your Business Stand Out!

With our new look Glaven Valley Website we have implemented a Banner Advertising system which allows you to place a graphic advert or 'Banner Advert' on most pages of the site. These will give prominence to your advertising for as long as you choose to display your advert, and can be used for anything from promoting special offers to a longer term high profile presence on the website .

Can I Choose Where The Advert Appears?

You can choose which page your page your advert appears on by entering the reference code shown on the page of your choice, when you set up the advert. You advert is entered underneath any existing adverts on that page, and will gradually move up if existing adverts are discontinued.

If yours is the only advert on the page it will be placed at the top of the advertising section and will stay there for as long as you keep up your subscription.

If you let your subscription lapse your advert will be replaced by another advert if there is one, and should you wish to reinsert it at a later date it will go in below any existing adverts.

How Much Does It Cost ?

Banner Adverts cost £30.00 + VAT per month, and you can insert an advert for a minimum of a month, or for as many months as you wish.

Can I Change My Advert?

Once you have purchased your space on the page you can change the advert displayed there as often as you wish.

How Do I Create My Advert?

You can use our quick system to easily create an Advert for you – this will use the title photo from your Glaven Valley listing, and allow you to add text elements and a link through to your website. You can do this and have your banner ‘live’ in a few minutes.

Alternatively you can create your own graphic, or get your web designer to do this for you, and upload it to the site. We can create the graphic for you if you wish but there may be a charge for this.

How To I Renew My Subscription For My Banner Advert?

We will send you a reminder by email when your advert is due for renewal, and you can log in and renew using a credit/debit card, or by BACS or cheque if the period is for 6 months or longer.
