Escape to the peace of rural North Norfolk and enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay at Oyster House Bed & Breakfast.
We offer family run Bed & Breakfast accommodation with a friendly and informal atmosphere.
Our traditional flint farmhouse dates back to the 17th Century and was once the village dairy. The house retains much of its original character and is one of the few properties to have ‘charm shoes’ preserved in its attics.
Set amidst lovely country gardens with many unusual plants, Oyster House Bed & Breakfast is the perfect spot to ‘get away from it all’.
We are also conveniently situated for business travellers who wish to rest overnight away from the hussle and bustle.


THE ROOMS

· Courtyard Rooms
Our main guest accommodation, set adjacent to the house, is in the old dairy. This has been carefully restored to provide comfortable, light and airy ground floor rooms. The double and twin rooms open directly onto a grassed courtyard, allowing guests extra privacy and convenience. Although not wheelchair accessible, these rooms are suitable for guests with limited mobility and have been awarded level 1 mobility as part of the National Accessibility Scheme

· Farmhouse
A spacious double bedroom in the house is tastefully furnished with antiques. Watch the world go by from the cosy window seat or relax in your luxurious roll top bath.

All accommodation is strictly ‘no smoking’ and we regret we do not allow pets.

BREAKFAST AT OYSTER HOUSE
Breakfast is served in a pretty parlour. Choose from a traditional Aga cooked breakfast, using fresh local produce from our village butcher, or a lighter alternative.
Please let us know if you have any special requirements. We are happy to make early breakfasts for those keen to be up and about.


THE GARDENS
We hope guests will feel free to enjoy our lovely gardens. Relax in a peaceful setting and enjoy the quiet life of North Norfolk.
Stroll amongst colourful spring bulbs or breathe in the scent of summer lavender and Olde English roses.

From £32.00 per person per night
based on two people sharing a double or twin room.
Saturday night only bookings are not always possible in busy periods. Please telephone for availability
Single rates from £40.00 per night Mon-Thurs. Prices include breakfast.
Special rates for children.

Located between Kings Lynn and Fakenham, West Rudham is a small quiet village in North Norfolk with a choice of pubs and local shops nearby. The Royal Sandringham Estate and beautiful, unspoilt North Norfolk Coast are within easy reach. We are an ideal base for your trips to Wells, Walsingham and Burnhams Market.
West Rudham is on the A148 Kings Lynn to Cromer Road. Approximately 15 minutes drive from Kings Lynn and 10 minutes from the small market town of Fakenham.
