Swanton Morley is situated in beautiful countryside and is close to the river Wensum which runs through to Norwich. The village is self sufficient having a high class butcher, delicatessen and village stores, and there are two pubs, The Angel Free House and Darby’s Freehouse.
The village is also known for The Mill Bakery, and Hunters Hall which host conferences and wedding receptions. The village has other Bed and Breakfast and self catering accommodation.
Swanton Morley is only 3 miles from East Dereham which is a large market town with supermarkets, restaurants and all facilities.
There are lovely walks and cycle routes from the village and is a lovely place for a holiday break.
