14th March 2010...
Try this for a 2 or 3 Night Spring Break -

Day One - get yourselves up and out to RSPB Snettisham Reserve, walk down to the edge of the sea and watch thousands of Pink Footed Geese make their way inland from The Wash, then keep watching and you may see thousands of Knot swooping in as the high tide pushes them off the mud flats and inland to the islands on the Reserve, watch from the 'hides' as there can be as many as 200 Knots per square meter on the banks of the lakes.See RSPB Website for dates.
Day Two - Sandringham Estate 1 mile park the car and walk through the grounds, hop on the 'tractor' ride for a relaxing treat.Check out the cafe or restaurant for lunch and a hot drink.Moving on, but still on The Queens Estate, drive to very nearby Wolferton, walk the 'Dersingham Bog,Boardwalk, look out for deer and much birdlife down here.
Day Three - before you leave, nip over to Roydon Common keep the car in the drive, play I Spy and see how many of the 40 wild Dartmoor Ponies you can see, deer and birdlife also.
Evening - Pop down to The Three Horseshoes Pub in the village, grab yourselves a £5 a head 'Sizzler' of steak or chicken breast, homecut chips and onions and mushrooms, have a nightcap, then back to Molly's Den to watch one of the MANY DVDs we have here for you.

Autumn,Winter or Summer
'Wake up,put the kettle on,open the French doors to the courtyard, sit in the sun, chill out, having breakfast.
Leave the car in the drive, cross Stoney Road, a simply made and very quiet affair, and immediately you are on Roydon Common,go in search of The Norfolk Wildlife Trusts 'Flying Flock of Sheep', The Dartmoor Ponies and see the Birds, Marsh Harriers,NightJar to name but two, walk right through the Common without seeing a house, through Pott Row and back to Molly's Den. Another drink, then get a cycle out and nip to Sandringham, ride through the 'Scenic Drive' or check out the House and Gardens, have lunch in the Restaurant before you go in.Journey back through West Newton and try and spot Deer in the Woods.
On your return to Molly's Den order a takeaway, open a bottle of wine or boil the kettle if thats more your thing, choose a DVD and relax.
Plan tomorrow - Beach, take in an Historic National Trust property,or book lunch at a good local restaurant.
