Mays Cottage is a charming detached cottage in a secluded location towards the top of Blakeney High St. Traditionally built in local flint it has been thoughtfully restored by the current owner to combine lovely period details with all mod cons.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: - large entrance hall, kitchen/dining room, sitting room, bathroom and a cupboard housing a washing machine and tumble drier.

The kitchen has been fitted with all modern conveniences including electric cooker and ceramic hob, extractor hood, Bosch fridge/freezer, Bosch dishwasher, microwave oven and nespresso coffee machine. The dining table comfortably seats six and there is ample kitchen equipment as the owner is a keen cook! A telephone is available for guests to use, with an honesty box to cover the cost of calls.

The sitting room has a lovely feel with an original Victorian fireplace (logs available locally) and large comfortable sofa with two further armchairs. It is also equipped with new flat screen digital television, video and DVD/CD player complete with radio and surround sound. There is also a door opening out onto the private south facing patio garden which is a real sun trap and a lovely spot for outdoor dining. The patio garden overlooks a further communal garden, which is fenced and shared with the neighbouring cottages.

The bathroom is equipped with a bath, wash hand basin, wc and separate shower cubicle with a power shower.
The cottage has full oil fired central heating, which is included in the rental.

Upstairs: - There are three bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with drawers under, a dressing table and large wardrobe. The room has original varnished floorboards and a large airing cupboard is located here.

Bedroom 2, which is reached through bedroom 3, has two single beds, large desk and bedside table.

Bedroom 3 has full size bunk beds and a chest of drawers and so is ideal for children.

Rates are fully inclusive of fine cotton linens, big fluffy towels (but please bring your own beach towels), luxury toiletries and all utilities.

Mays Cottage doesn't have it's own parking, but there is parking on the High St by the cottage, across the road near the church or in the nearby village car parks (two of which are free).
