Lime Kiln Farm, North Norfolk’s new equestrian centre.
PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR FULL DETAILS
Lime Kiln Farm opened in January 2008; it is owned by Derek & Mary Lee and managed by their daughter Alison BHSAI.
We intend to provide the local and regional equestrian communities with excellent facilities and friendly, well-run competitions and clinics.
Lime Kiln Farm caters for unaffiliated and affiliated competitors in showjumping, dressage, showing and driving, with various qualifiers throughout the year.
Situated just under ¼ mile off of the main A148 between Fakenham and Holt in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, Lime Kiln Farm’s road access is excellent.
Our indoor arena is surfaced with Prowax™ from Andrews Bowen. Prowax™ is the most advanced surface on the market at the moment. Prowax™ is used at The Hand EC a 2012 training camp, Arena UK, the Belfast International Horse Show and Andrews Bowen have just signed a 5 year contract to be the surface provider for HOYS, using Prowax™ in all arenas.
In Prowax™ arenas, horses don’t ‘sink in,’ they remain on the top of the surface, therefore creating an ideal base for any discipline. We are one of the few centres in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire able to boast such an excellent surface.
The arena, and showjumps if required, is available for private or group hire on all non-competition days, please call to book.
We offer full, schooling, holiday and selling livery. Please go to the livery page for more information.
Because we want Lime Kiln Farm to develop and become Norfolk’s premier venue, the following work will be completed by September 2008 in time for the start of the winter season:
* Extension of the existing indoor arena, increasing it to a 23 x 60
* A 22 x 60 surfaced, floodlit outdoor warm-up arena
* Heated toilet block
* Spectators seating area viewing gallery
Future plans include bar, cafeteria, competition stabling, tack shop and most importantly a new international size indoor arena.
