About The King's Head Holt

DRINKING - The King’s Head Holt is proud to be a proper community pub.

We know that there are times when you simply need to let off steam, and with the pool table, darts board, flat-screen TVs and all sorts of bar games, our aim is to help you to do just that. Plenty of local sports teams meet up in the main bar and the pub is the proud sponsor of the local football side, Holt United FC.

There’s a long bar area for those of you who like a good lean, or if you prefer a cosy chat, there’s a comfortable snug which looks out on to the garden. In the winter you can warm yourselves up by the fires in the rooms to the left of the entrance, and in the summer the large beer garden is perfect for enjoying a pint or two in the sunshine.

And because we like to look after local businesses, you’ll find all sorts of Norfolk ales on offer here, from Adnams Best and Bitter to Woodforde’s Wherry and Yetman’s.

EATING at STEAK
Looking for something to eat? The Kings Head will not disappoint. Landlord and head chef, Adam Chapman, ensures a strong food offer with a real passion for steaks and authentic charcoal grill cooking. Here, at STEAK, you will find food that is familiar, with prices that will please, but with an attention to detail and flavour that is not often found.

In addition, we have built a great space for STEAK to be enjoyed. The proper pub atmosphere of The Kings Head continues to the front of the building, however, we have created a timber framed structure providing comfortable seating and tables for 60 diners, some quirky features, great aspect over looking the garden to the rear and featuring the noise and smell of the authentic charcoal grill where you can watch landlord and grill master, Adam Chapman and team, cooking some superb steaks.

SLEEPING
Step upstairs and you find some of the best accommodation in Holt. Three generously appointed bedrooms with 6ft beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, comfortable seating, office space and flat screen TV, an abundance of character and superbly appointed bathrooms.
