Inside the property

Jicklings is an extremely comfortable cottage that was fully renovated in 2006 with all the conveniences that you would wish for from a holiday cottage.

Built in the early 1800s the accommodation is arranged on three floors.

On the ground floor the well equipped kitchen has a fan oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge freezer and a large dining table that can comfortably seat 10.
Additional fridge/freezer capacity is available in our outside store.
The sitting room has seating for 8 comfortably, 10 at a squeeze with a digital TV, video, DVD player and a cast iron stove gas powered for convenience.

The two first floor bedrooms have comfortable double beds along with plenty of storage. There is a spacious bathroom with a separate shower room, both with own WC and sink.

The second floor bedrooms are both twin beds. The upper bedrooms have spectacular views across the rooftops and saltmarshes, out to sea.

For families with younger children we provide a high chair, booster seat, travel cot without linen and numerous toys, videos and games.

All beds are supplied with linen for use during your stay.

Outside and garden

The property has car parking for two vehicles to the side facing Jicklings Yard. Further parking is available close by.

To the front of the cottage there is a spacious patio area with picnic bench and space for barbecues or childrens play.

There is an extremely useful outhouse, accessible from the yard, for storing bicycles, buggies etc. or for drying coats etc. in poor weather.
We also leave a few folding chairs, deck chairs, the barbecue, bats and balls and crabbing equipment in this outhouse for your use during your stay.

Surrounding area

Located in the centre of Wells, only fifty yards from the quay, ideal for all local shops, pubs restaurants and sights.
