This is an email that I have just received from a guest :
Hi Jon
I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to email our heartfelt thanks for the use of Ivy House last week.
The house was everything you described and more, we ourselves have a grade II listed barn conversion and so the beams in the master bedroom really made us feel at home.
So rarely do you go away and have the home comforts which I now know that both yourself and Val strive to achieve. The Jamie Oliver crockery, the vilaroy wine glasses (or should I say vases!). Everything was beautiful and clean and the bedding and towels smelt fresh not fusty as you so often find. Just as a point I am now going to have to seek out some of the Goose feather pillows from John Lewis they are wonderful.
Burnham Market is a great village and we enjoyed walking round and browsing in the shops, we also managed to eat at the Hoste Arms which was lovely. We found the lovely beaches of Brancaster, Wells and Holkham and also went to the White Horse at Brancaster Staithe and enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay looking over the wonderful views from their conservatory.
Regards
Becky
