A short walk to the end of the adjacent cottages leads to the large garden with equipped summer house and BBQ area for guests.

A peaceful Village renowned for The Bale Oak. The Bale Oak was over 500 years old when it was cut down. It measured 35 feet in circumference and one of its branches was over 70 feet long. In 1860 it was regarded as too dangerous and cut down. It was replaced by a grove of Holm oak trees, now protected by the National Trust.
