Peace and tranquility in a dream country cottage with an award winning pub next door.

Whatever you are looking for, the Old Post Office Cottage is sure to make your stay in North Norfolk a memorable one. With many exposed beams and period furnishings, the cottage is comfortable with a very homely feel. The cottage garden, which residents can relax in during the warm summer evenings, is situated to the rear of the building and there is off-road parking.

On colder days, the guest's lounge with it's inglenook fireplace , offers a place to meet other guests and discuss the next day's itinerary. Colour TV, games and local guide books are available in this comfortable room.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, a bright and light room with a small collection of blue and white china.
Traditional English breakfast is included in the price, so you can get off to a perfect start.
The Pub

Upstairs we can offer two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Downstairs there is one double room, which has a shower and WC, in an en-suite arrangement.

This room can be very convenient for those who have difficulty with stairs, but also offers more privacy if you prefer.

All the upstairs bedrooms offer hand basins and toiletries are provided.

Each room has it's own character, with fresh white linen on all the feature beds (just how it used to be) this is a real home from home.
Participation

Evening meals and lunches are served in the Three Horseshoes Pub which is adjacent to the cottage, so simply 'nip next door' for a warm and inviting welcome with good food and real ale for those lazy lunchtimes or a cosy evening.

As the style of the cottage is unsuitable for small children, we do not welcome children under 14 years of age (there are no family rooms).

Your dog is most welcome and we can provide for most canine requirements (dogs are also welcome in the pub).

All the rooms provide colour TV's, tea/coffee and hot chocolate making facilities together with a selection of biscuits as well as hair dryers and needle repair kits. We provide for every eventuality.
