Hillrise Cottage has been renovated to a high standard and is furnished in contemporary style with a mix of old and new.
The cottage sleeps 6 in the main house with additional accommodation for 2 in the single storey annexe with en suite bathroom.
GROUND FLOOR
The centrally heated accommodation comprises, entrance lobby with storage for boots and coats, door to spacious, sociable, open plan living area with underfloor heating, original pamment floor and woodburning stove.
Relaxing sitting area with eating, flat screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, Ipod docking station and broadband. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen with range of units, wooden worktops, Redfyre Aga style electric cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, tumble drier and bread making machine. The cottage has a lovely garden planted with roses, herbs and box hedging. The garden is on three levels, winding up to an upper lawned area with a gazebo and seating. Lovely views across the marshes and out to sea. Parking for one car. Further parking nearby.
Location
Cley-next-the-sea is a pretty unspoilt coastal village on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The village is exceptionally well served with two pubs, a smokehouse, bookshop, delicatessen and gallery. All within walking distance.
The cottage is directly opposite the unspoilt salt marshes. Nearby is the award winning RSPB Visitors Centre at Salthouse.
