Highfield House is situated on the edge of a typical north Norfolk village, surrounded on three sides by fields and rural views close to Wells-Next-the-Sea. Recently refurbished to a high specification, the house offers every affordable comfort. Ideal for families or adults, the house boasts roomy accommodation with spacious gardens and patio areas.
Full central heating to all rooms.

The accommodation comprises of the following :

Large Porch, with quarry tile floor and hanging space for outdoor gear, leading to entrance hall and stairs to second floor.

Sitting Room - a spacious, bright room with comfortable, contemporary seating and oak side tables, feature fireplace, mini digital radio/CD player with IPod docking, TV plus Freeview with DVD player and selection of DVDs, books and guides on the local area and an assortment of board games for those inclement weather days.

The kitchen and dining area is a large open-plan family room with ceramic and wooden flooring. Shaker design units provide plenty of storage for food. The dining area has a large dining table with extendable leaves seating up to 8 with leather chairs. This is a sunny, relaxing room for dining at any time of the day. Well equipped with new appliances as follows:
Neff circotherm oven and grill
Siemens 4 ring ceramic hob with extractor fan
Fully integrated Bosch dishwasher

Toaster and sandwich maker

Just 3 miles from the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, Wighton is in a great location to explore North Norfolk. Wighton has its own Art Gallery at the Old School House, and also a post office, tea room and The Carpenters Arms pub which serves food and drinks. Wighton is also not far from the Pilgrimage destination, The Shrine at Little Walsingham.

Wighton has holiday cottages to rent and also offers Bed and Breakfast in the village and it a great place for a holiday in North Norfolk..

The Wighton Scarecrow Festival takes place over the Saturday, Sunday & Monday of the first May Bank Holiday. This event has become a high point in the Norfolk calendar and attracts thousands of visitors, including holiday- makers now making it an annual pilgrimage to the event. There are varied exhibitions and a scarecrow café to enjoy, as well as, scarecrows in many of the gardens and public areas. The Children’s competition is always on the common on the Sunday afternoon. All events are free and open to all visitors & locals.

The Wells to Walsingham light railway passes the outskirts of the village on, what was, the old main London line and can still be used to get to and from Wighton at Seaton’s Halt.
