Behind the picturesque sand dunes and flat sandy beach at Burnham Overy Staithe, the village itself is a quiet spot, formerly a small fishing port, and reportedly where Horatio Nelson first learned to row and sail.

Burnham Overy Staithe is a small village, but the Hero bar/restaurant serves great locally sourced food and nearby Burnham Market has a wealth of shops and restaurants.
