Inside the property

Accommodation consists of a comfortable twin bedded room (duvets) with en-suite basin and w.c. with adjacent shower/bathroom (further basin & w.c.). On the 1st floor is a kingsize suite comprising comfortable bedroom area (duvet), en-suite shower room (basin & w.c.) and attractive lounge area overlooking countryside views. Both rooms have TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities (homemade biscuits).

Breakfast is served in our attractive dining room overlooking the pretty rear garden and consists of a variety of buffet foods (fresh fruit salad, cereals, prunes, yoghurt, toast -home baked bread and homemade preserves, Foulsham honey), together with a full cooked breakfast of outdoor reared (supplied from our local pub!) bacon & sausage, homegrown tomatoes (in season), eggs from our own free range chooks, mushrooms and baked beans. Juice, Milk, Tea & Fairtrade coffee accompany the above.

Foulsham is situated 1 mile off the B1067 (turning at the large white water tower) (8 miles from Fakenham - 17 miles from Norwich - 5 miles from Dereham). Ample off-road parking is available.

Surrounding area

The village of Foulsham has an attractive selection of 16th and 17th century buildings, and church, together with a post office, a shop and a welcoming pub. Situated 8 miles from Fakenham and within easy reach of the market towns of Holt, Aylsham, Dereham and Reepham. The village is surrounded by a large selection of country walks and cycle rides (we are directly on the Harwich to Hull National Cycle Network - \Sustrans\). The region boasts numerous attractions and amenities easily accessible by car (National Trust properties, RSPB reserves, NWT reserves, local steam Railways, BTO reserves, Hawk & Owl Trust, Pensthorpe Wildfowl & Gardens, Fakenham Racecourse, Cinemas, Theatres, Piers, Norwich city centre & International Airport to name a few!) and is ideally situated to explore Norfolk and its' popular coastal areas.
