Inside the property

Grade II listed Duck Cottage is a pretty brick and flint former estate cottage, situated in the village of Letheringsett, one mile from the Georgian town of Holt. The Cottage is tucked away on a rural lane just past Letheringsett Mill towards the ford crossing the river Glaven.

The cottage is comfortably furnished, offering homely accommodation, with all you need for a quiet holiday in the country.

The spacious accommodation with electric storage heating throughout comprises:- Lounge with ample seating, flat screen TV and DVD player, games and books, fireplace with electric fire. Separate, spacious kitchen with good range of units, cooker, fridge and microwave. Separate dining area with seating for up to 6. Sun room with sofabed and seating. Separate utility room with washing machine; downstairs WC.

Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with storage, small room leading off with space for a cot/pull out bed. Second bedroom with full size bunk beds. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and wall mounted heater.

One small pet by prior agreement.

Outside and garden

A feature of the cottage is the large, pretty cottage garden with lawned area, summerhouse and shallow pond (can be covered on request), views to Spout Hills. Parking for up to 3 cars..

Surrounding area

The village of Letheringsett is one mile from the market town of Holt, with excellent shopping and eating out. The cottage is opposite Letheringsett Mill, the last working mill in Norfolk. Also within walking distance is The Kings Head, serving good food. There is also an award winning Farm Shop nearby. The coast at Cley-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Morston and Sheringham, with it's Blue Flag beach is within easy reach.
