More Details

Daisy's special attribute is its location, being literally a minute or two's walk from the town centre but also in a quiet setting.

The cottage has two pretty bedrooms - one double and a twin room. It also has a large upstairs bathroom with generous size separate shower cubicle and large freestanding Victorian rolltop bath.

A feature of the cottage is the large double aspect sitting room with two seating areas, one including a double sofa bed and side tables, the other with twin sofas and tv with freeview, dvd, coffee table and stove etc.

The radio/cassette/tape/CD player sits on the sideboard in the lounge, which is well stocked with books, games, DVD's, CD's and local information.

The modern well equipped kitchen includes a microwave, built in cooker with extractor, fridge and washing machine and separate freezer as well as electric kettle, toaster and full complement of crockery, glasses, knives and kitchen tools.

The dining area, with oak dining suite for six, is situated in the light and spacious conservatory connected to the kitchen and having the benefit of an arched serving hatch.

The cottage is well equipped with high quality beds and mattresses and well furnished with pictures and lamps to make it a comfortable home from home.

All linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Gas and electricity are included in the price. Sorry no smokers and no pets.

Outside Features

Although situated just off the end of Holt High Street, the cottage is nicely secluded and the well fenced garden assures privacy. The patio area just outside the conservatory is equipped with table, chairs, parasol and BBQ and a further seat is located on the second patio area at the rear, to make the most of the garden.

Off-road private secure parking as well as its own surrounding garden. Please note that there is a height restriction on the vehicle access of 74.

Location

Daisy Cottage makes a perfect base for exploring Holt, with its fine restaurants, art galleries, tea rooms, antique shops and delicatessens selling local produce. The Steam Railway station and the historic Greshams Public School are within walking distance of the cottage as are Holt's renowned shopping facilities. The beautiful North Norfolk Coast is only a matter of minutes away by car with salt marshes, sandy beaches, sailing and golf.

Holt is a picturesque, bustling North Norfolk town. There is a fantastic variety of shops to visit here, almost all of which are unique, independent local businesses.

There is a wealth of boutique clothes shops, several Art Galleries and gift shops as well as cafes, restaurants and bars.

Holt is perhaps at its most attractive over the Christmas period, when the award winning Christmas lights transform the town into a veritable winter wonderland.

Holt Country park has some great walks, and is situated just outside the town.

The Poppy Line, part of the North Norfolk Steam Railway runs from here to the popular seaside town of Sheringham, and just down the hill Letheringsett Watermill offers working viewings of the only flour producing watermill in Norfolk.
