Renovated barn conversion in charming North Norfolk village location, close to Blakeney, Stiffkey and Wells-next-the-sea.

Ground floor accommodation. Open plan living and kitchen area with well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedroom with kingsize bed. Allocated parking and private outside seating area which nicely catches the evening sun. Beautiful shared gardens and use of private tennis court. Quiet and pretty location. Ideally suitable for a couple, 3rd person may be accommodated upon request but only with prior arrangement with owner. Not suitable for young children. Sorry no pets and no smoking.

Binham village has a beautiful, ruined priory and a great pub, which brews its own ale and offers a tasty homecooked menu. This charming barn is an ideal base for exploring the picturesque North Norfolk coast.

Binham is a wonderful place for a holiday. It is a lovely unspoilt village next to the ruins of the 12th Century Binham Priory. The Priory stands on the rolling fields above the valley of the river Stiffkey, along which the Barnack Limestone for the building work was shipped, having come by river and sea from Northamptonshire, via the local port of Wells. The village of Binham is well-supplied with a local Grocery Store, a Butcher and Grazier, a Petrol pump, and the friendly and welcoming Chequers Inn which has good food and also brews its own beer. All these are close to the Village Green where a medieval Wayside Cross marks the site of the village fair held there from the reign of Henry I onwards and revived in 2007 with great success.
The North Norfolk Coast is easily reached, with the sandy beaches and dunes at Wells-next-the-Sea only 5 miles away. Wells itself is a lovely harbour town, by the Quay the small port is still active. The pretty alleys, georgian town houses and old granary buildings now offer the summer visitor a great choice of shops and cafés. Just along the coast the pine woods, enormous beach and Palladian mansion of Holkham Hall can be found. The Georgian town of Holt, with its excellent shopping, cafés and restaurants is 7 miles away, it is a mere 9 miles to the pretty shops in Burnham Market, and the market town of Fakenham with its busy Thursday Market and monthly Farmers Market is ten miles away.
