Nestled in on the North Norfolk coast, Brancaster is always a popular destination for families during the summer. Brancaster is popular for its sailing, fishing and birdwatching, and a small shop sells fantastic freshly caught seafood here.
There are pubs with excellent restaurants and of course the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club,
Birdwatchers will have one of the RSPB's finest reserves at nearby Thornham, and sailors will be in nautical heaven at Brancaster Staithe.
The miles of beach bordered by sand dunes are flat and sandy and at low tide the wreck of the SS Vina can be seen, this coaster was used for target practice after being decommissioned and eventually sunk in 1944.
A fantastic beach for families and children
