The kitchen at Clock Cottage is equipped with Miele and Bosch appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. It has an open log fire, flat screen TV, DVD and wireless broadband. Bath and separate shower. Central heating.

Towels and cotton bed linen provided.

Strictly no smoking. Sorry no pets.

Please note that stairs in period cottages such as this are steeper and narrower than those in modern day property and are therefore unsuitable for the elderly and young children.

Clock Cottage has a long, lawned front garden and stylish rear courtyard garden.

There is convenient off street private parking next to the cottage for 2 cars.

Location

Clock Cottage is within walking distance of the long, sandy beach at Thornham, adjacent to Holme Nature Reserve. It is only one mile from the beautiful RSPB nature reserve at Titchwell Marsh.

The famous Lifeboat Inn and the Orange Tree - both known for their good food, are a short walk from the cottage, as is the village shop. Nearby is Drove Orchards farm shop selling its own and other local produce including seasonally available fresh fruit and vegetables. There you will also find the newly opened Yurt cafe restaurant.

Brancaster beach - and the harbour at Brancaster Staithe for those interested in sailing - are just a short drive. Also within easy reach is the Georgian market town of Burnham Market where the famous 15th century Hoste Arms, Gurneys fish shop and Humble Pie delicatessen are amongst the attractions.

Thornham is a popular holiday village on the coast in North West Norfolk. It is in the neighbouring village to the RSPB Bird Reserve at Titchwell, so it is a great holiday location for Bird Watchers, and it is just along the coast from Holme-next-the-Sea and Hunstanton.
There are Golf Clubs nearby at Hunstanton and Brancaster. Thornham has two pubs, The Lifeboat Inn and The Old Coach House, and there is the contemporary dining pub ‘The Orange Tree’ which has an excellent reputation.
The Norfolk Coast Path leads to some fabulous sandy beaches, and Thornham has a very picturesque harbour. There are Hotels and B&Bs and also self catering cottages for you to rent for your holiday.
