The cliffs at East Runton give way to some gentler slopes, leaving easy access to the beach itself.
The beach here is a lovely combination of large flat rocks and soft golden sand. The waves here are often large enough for surfers and body boarders to take to the ocean, and at low tide swimming is also popular.

At the top of the causeway that leads from the car park there is a small shop, cafe and toilet facilities. In the village of East Runton itself a picturesque green marks the centre of the village, and there is a restaurant, a cafe and a fish and chip shop, perfect for any hungry visitors to the area.

East Runton is also conveniently close to the larger seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham.
