Inside the property

The main cottage has three bedrooms - master bedroom with ensuite shower room, middle bedroom with two single beds and a further double bedroom with bathroom ensuite. The bedroom with single beds shares the bathroom.. The 'Outhouse' which used to be the old kitchen and laundry, is now a beautiful self-contained bed/sitting room with hall and shower room. The vaulted ceiling gives a wonderful feeling of space. There is a large farm house kitchen with wood burning stove, traditional pamment floor tiles and exposed beamed ceiling. The sitting room has windows on three sides of the room which allows for wonderful sunlight all day long and the open wood burning fire makes for cosy warm evenings.

Outside and garden

The cottage is surrounded by its own extensive walled garden which is mainly laid to lawn and is wonderful for children and well behaved dogs alike. There is a gas BBQ and table and chairs on the patio which runs the whole length of the property. There is parking on the gravelled driveway for 4-5 cars.

Surrounding area

Bircham boasts its own local store and excellent pub, The Kings Head. Our nearest beach is Brancaster which is approximately 7 minutes away by car. There are beautiful country walks and footpaths immediately surrounding the cottage and the bird life is spectacular. The famous village of Burnham Market is 15 minutes away by car. The cottage sits on the edge of the Honey Hills from which breath-taking views can be enjoyed in any direction. A stay at Church Farm Cottage is a true tonic and you will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and invigorated.
