The Buckinghamshire arms is a 17th century coaching inn with a difference, situated at the gates of Blickling hall we can boast that our four poster bedrooms have some of the most stunning and majestic views in Norfolk, our rooms and amenities have been credited four stars from the British tourist board.

To compliment our rooms and beautiful surroundings the 'Bucks' menus seasonally reflect the top quality of Norfolk produce.

Try our rare breed Sunday roasts and 'old spot' sausages or our signature dish ‘Gunton park' venison casserole with herb dumplings.

Locally grown asparagus and strawberries and Cromer crab when in season.

As a free house we buy Norfolk ales including Woodforde's and Wolf breweries and buy our wine from Norfolk wine merchants.

The picturesque village of Blickling is largely all part of one estate, that of Blickling Hall.
Blickling Hall itself is a magnificent Jacobean stately home, maintained by the National Trust. Blickling Hall is open year round for tours of the house and gardens and you can walk in the extensive grounds and round the lake. The village itself if very small, the village pub The Buckinghamshire Arms serves excellent food, and there is a farm shop next to the pub.
The ancient woodland here is a wonderful place for a walk, especially in May, when the Bluebells are in season. Blickling Hall stages concerts in the summer so you can bring a picnic and enjoy music in the park.
