More Details
Bridge House, built in the 18th Century, sits at the heart of Coltishall, one of Norfolk’s lovely villages with a wide choice of great places to eat and drink, all within just a few minutes walk of your room.
We offer a warm welcome to all our guests throughout the year, providing them with a real home from home experience. All our rooms are distinctive with a mix of family accommodation, with 3 rooms situated in the house and four rooms in our barn conversion in the grounds.
Every room has en-suite facilities, a welcome courtesy tray, free wi-fi connection and flat screen TV plus DVD player. In the colder weather our guest lounge within the house has a lovely log fire to enjoy in the Snug. Breakfast offers a wide choice of freshly cooked produce using our local farms and butchers.
Outside Features
All guests are welcome to use the patio overlooking our lovely garden.
Location
Bridge House is situated on the bank of the lovely river Bure, offering delightful walks and for those who would like to leave the car, we are on a regular bus route between Norwich and the coast.
Just a few miles further afield you will discover why the Norfolk Broads is such a popular holiday destination. Within a 20-mile radius of Bridge house there are nature reserves, many miles of boating & fishing on the Broads and rivers, steam train rides, lots of attractions for the children, plus the coast with it’s lovely sandy beaches.
Just 7 miles away is the city of Norwich, one of England’s most beautiful cities. With it’s 11th century cathedral and famous 12th century Castle museum the city offers a wealth of history and entertainment coupled with enough shops to keep even the most ardent of shoppers happy.
