Location

Beech lodge is in a small quiet lodge park set in woodland overlooking the sea & North Norfolk Coastal Path.

Weybourne Hall Park is situated in the charming village of Weybourne on the North Norfolk Coast.

The park lies adjacent to priory ruins and the village church.

The village has a public house, a shop and tea rooms.
The shingle beach is a five minute walk along a path adjacent to the road to the beach car park.

Weybourne is situated 2 miles west of Sheringham and 5 miles from the seaside fishing town of Cromer. It is 4 miles from the Georgian town of Holt.

Further along the coast there are delightful villages and extensive sandy beaches at Wells & Holkham.

A hopper bus stops outside the village church which runs frequently along the coast to Burnham Market.

Weybourne is where the shingle bank which stretches from Blakeney to the West ends, and the striking chalk cliffs which run to the East begin.
The shingle beach here makes it a popular spot for sea fishing, especially due to the deep water immediately off the shore. This deep water made Weybourne a potential spot for an invasion to land, even as late as WWII.
A number of old military defences can be found around the coast here, and the Muckleborough Collection can be found in Weybourne village - this is the countrys largest collection of working military vehicles.
At Weybourne there is also a shop, a pub and a hotel, and the nearby town of Holt has plenty of facilities including a supermarket.
