Inside the property

Beavers Cottage is an attractive renovated traditional flint cottage, situated in the heart of the village on Front Street. The three bedroom cottage, which sleeps six people, benefits from off street parking and an outbuilding suitable for the storage of bikes, windsurfing and kite boarding equipment.

Internally the property provides a spacious open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area and WC on the ground floor with two sets of summer doors leading into the walled garden.

The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, freezer, microwave, washing machine and a high chair. The lounge area which is arranged around an open fire has a LCD TV, DVD, Video and CD player. The CD player has a docking station for all types of iPods and also a USB port.

The three bedrooms on the first floor are arranged as one double bedroom and two twin rooms. A cot is also available. The bathroom has both bath and shower facilities. Duvets, duvet covers and pillows are all provided however hirers are expected to provide their own bed linen and towels.

There is a phone suitable for incoming calls only. We regret that there is a no smoking policy in the cottage. Well behaved pets are allowed on the understanding that they are kept to a section of the ground floor only.

Short breaks are available, further details are available upon request.

Outside and garden

To the rear of the cottage there is an attractive walled garden, which offers good security for young children and is equipped with garden furniture and a summer house.

Surrounding area

Burnham Market is an attractive Georgian Village set on the North Norfolk Coast in close proximity to Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster Staithe. The village has been labelled as 'Norfolks loveliest village' which offers a number of small specialist shops, a butcher, baker and fishmonger. In addition there are two public houses, The Hoste Arms and The Jockey and a superb fish restaurant, Fishes.

The village is situated a mile from the coastline and approximately four miles from Holkham Hall. The area offers an endless variety of activities including spectacular walks, fabulous beaches, bird and seal watching, dinghy sailing, golf and tennis to name just a few.
