Inside the property

Sleeping accommodation in the Bungalow consists of 1 double and 1 twin bedroom.

All bed linen and tea towels are provided free of charge. Guests are requested to bring their own towels.

The bathroom consists of a shower cubicle, hand basin, toilet and washing machine / tumble drier.

The large lounge incorporates a kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer, toaster and kettle. The lounge has a large bay window, television, video player, DVD player, portable CD radio cassette player, two comfortable sofas and a selection of books, videos and DVDs.

Dogs very welcome.

The Bungalow is fully carpeted except the kitchen area and bathroom, which have vinyl flooring. Heating is by night storage radiators and is provided free of charge; other electricity is by £1 coin meter. Bin collection is on Friday and will be attended to by the owners.

TERMS
A deposit of £50 per week is requested with your booking and the balance payable 6 weeks before your holiday. Cheques made payable to N.Ripley please. In event of cancellation we will refund any deposits and balances paid if we are able re let the Bungalow.
The Bungalow will be ready for guests from 2 pm on day of arrival. We would ask guests to vacate the Bungalow by 10:30 am on their day of departure.

Outside and garden

The Bungalow is set in 6 acres of mature private gardens and woodland of which guests have full use

There is parking for 2 cars in front of the bungalow and more parking in paddock if required.

Surrounding area

Aylmerton House is situated on the A 148 Kings Lynn, Fakenham, Holt, Cromer road. Coming from Holt it is on the left hand side of the road 200 yards before the Roman Camp pub, petrol station / shop which are on the right hand side of road.

There are train stations in Cromer and Sheringham.

The Roman Camp pub is attractive and welcoming and serves good food. It also has a beer garden for those hot summer days and idyllic summer evenings. The shop next door has long opening hours and is ideal for newspapers and groceries forgotten in your main shopping.

Cromer has safe sandy beaches, a range of interesting shops, a multi screen cinema and family friendly pubs and restaurants. The Cromer Pier Show is one of the last traditional variety shows. Sheringham is host to North Norfolk Steam Railway and the Little Theatre which presents plays and films.

Cromer and Sheringham have fine 18 hole links golf courses, with reduced twilight green fees after. The Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Club is open to non members and has a very friendly atmosphere with 10 grass, 4 Astroturf tennis courts, 2 squash courts and bar.

There are three National Trust properties locally. Felbrigg Hall 1 mile - has an interesting house and gardens, fine views and walks.

Sheringham Park 3 miles - has lovely rhododendron walks and many features of interest. Lastly the spectacular

Blickling Hall 11 miles - large house, formal gardens and extensive grounds.
