Approached through leafy lanes, across open rolling North Norfolk farm land and with views to the coast, Avocet barn offers a perfect base from which to explore North Norfolk's heritage coastline.

Originally part of one of the largest long barns in England, Avocet was converted by the award winning Avada company in 2003 and now offers luxury holiday accommodation in some of England's most beautiful countryside.

Avocet offers two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom plus a little pull-out bed for a child accommodating 78 guests in total. A travel cot is also available please bring your own cot bedding. There is an ensuite bathroom with the master bedroom plus two other shower rooms.

Luxurious bedding and towels have been used in every room. There is also a large downstairs utility room with sink , washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board. An impressive open-tread wooden staircase leads upstairs to a huge open plan living area.

The kitchen is fantastically equipped with a big fridge freezer, cookerhob, microwave and an impressive array of china, glasses and accessories. The breakfast bar is such a good idea! The dining area is very elegant.

The lounge area is vast and offers big sofas to snuggle up on in front of the woodburning stove. There is a large TV with DVD and a good stereo system & a selection of board games & family DVDs .

The views from upstairs are really great and on a clear day you can see the coastline in the distance. There is an enclosed front garden with post and rail fencing & patio with table & chairs, and further courtyard patio with table and chairs to the rear of the barn. There is also ample parking.

This new complex of barns is a perfect family holiday venue for the discerning and we think it offers excellent value for money.
