Inside the property

At Knollside the AA have awarded us a highly commended 4 star rating. We offer you sherry on arrival, there is a guest sitting room. Some bedrooms have sea views.

Our rooms have well stocked hospitality trays, all our rooms are equipped with flat screen TV’s with DVD & Video recorder. We have five foot beds, there is a large cedar 4 poster, also a sleigh bed, comfortable settee’s or armchairs.

All rooms ensuite with good quality local toiletries.

In our dining room we have individual dining tables or we will re-arrange them if you come with a group.

Our breakfast is something to enjoy, freshly prepared grapefruit with a good choice of fruit and cereals.

Apart from the traditional full English breakfast with proper butchers sausages we offer a selection of fish, we try to use all local produce when possible. Good tasty coffee, or tea if you prefer. Lots of home made jams and marmalade.

Knollside was built in 1895 it is a very roomy comfortable sound proof house. Our guests enjoy their stay and come back time after time.
