Hot water is run from the night storage circuit. There is no telephone.
Bed linen, duvets, are provided BUT please bring own towels.

In front of the cottage is a small lawn and large gravelled area. The south facing conservatory at the rear leads to a fully enclosed small terrace, shrub garden and the back gate, beyond which is a gravelled area with parking space for 2 -3 cars.
Excellent dinghy sailing in tidal harbour. Many walks, Bird watching and also at nearby reserves Titchwell and Holme. Varied walking. Wonderful unspoilt sandy beaches here at Scolt Head, Gun Hill, Holkham and Wells. Golf courses within easy reach. Tennis courts 4 minutes away. Village pub, The Hero, serves excellent food and take-aways.
Burnham Market, 2 miles, provides a variety of interesting shops and eating places, including the Hoste Arms. There are other good restaurants and pubs in easy reach.
Nearby stately homes include Blickling and Felbrigg. Holkham Hall with its parkland, lake, pottery and shops is 2 miles to the east.
Nelson was born at Burnham Thorpe and as a boy walked across the fields to Burnham Overy Staithe. Both the Lord Nelson pub and the church at Burnham Thorpe are worth visiting.
