Entrance hall with stairs and passage to garden and washroom, Main Sitting room with open fireplace, door into the garden. Television

Kitchen dining room recently upgraded. Electric cooker, fridge freezer ,dishwasher and microwave. Walk in larder. Back door leading to passageway to High Street. The view from the sink is stunning !

Notes

All beds provided with duvets and pillows.
Cot, baby's bath, nappy bucket and high chair.
Please bring all linen, towels and tea towel.
Bathmats are provided.
It would be appreciated if guests refrain from smoking in the house.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs by arrangement at £30 per week but NO puppies.
Guests are asked to leave the house clean and tidy as they find it.
Please report any damage to Tessa.
Please arrive after 2pm on Saturday and leave by 10am on the day of departure.
Central heating extra at £150 a week.

Outside Features

The cottage has a Sheltered walled garden with large plum and fig trees, lawn and patio, which is excellent for sunbathing and is completely safe for small children.
There is direct access to the Hill.

Also in the garden is an outside loo and the Whelk House, excellent for storing sails, crabbing buckets, barbecue etc.
here is a large sink for washing mud and sand off feet !

Sheltered by Blakeney point, the Village of Blakeney is one of the most picturesque in Norfolk. Crabbing off the quay is a popular pastime with children.
In the evening the sun sets over the creek, creating some truly breathtaking views.
Seal trips take holidaymakers to Blakeney Point, although they mostly leave from Morston the neighbouring village along the coast as the channel in Blakeney is now very silted. You can see the seals as they bask on the sand of Blakeney point.
Blakeney regatta takes place on the last weekend in July each year, with hundreds of people coming together to participate in (or just watch) a fantastic array of swimming races, tug-of-war across the creek, and of course the infamous greasy pole competition.

Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt.
This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife.

Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs.

The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, butchers, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holidaymakers
