Location

Thornham is located on the North Norfolk coast about one hours drive from Norwich. Thornham is ideally located for sailing and water sports and is popular with families, birdwatchers, golfers, weekenders or indeed anyone wishing to escape to an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are several beautiful beaches within the immediate proximity of Thornham including Holme Dunes, Brancaster and Holkham. Sandringham, the Holkham estate, Houghton Hall as well as the fashionable market towns of Burnham Market and Holt are all within easy reach. The RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve is on the doorstep. The village has a farm shop, a post office, a church and three pubs each with good restaurants.

North Norfolk is an ideal holiday destination whatever your interest, quiet country lanes make cycling a pleasure and walkers can enjoy the Coastal Path and Peddars Way which pass through the villages of Ringstead and Thornham. Sailing, golf and bird-watching are all very popular pastimes along the coast and the area is also a popular haunt of artists painting the coastal creeks and huge skies.
