Cley Beach forms a shingle bank that protects marshes and reclaimed meadows from the sea. Nearby is the new environmentally friendly Visitor Centre and café. There is wheelchair access to board walks and several bird watching hides. This is reputed to be the best bird watching spot in the country.
Walkers can take the Norfolk Coastal Path to Holme next the Sea where it meets the ancient Peddars way.
Cley village near by offers pubs, restaurants, tea houses, a smokehouse, and a delicatessant.

Regarded by many as one of the best spots in Britain for bird watching the hides at Cley afford fantastic views over the Cley Marsh Nature Reserve.
There is a popular visitors centre where passes for the hides can be purchased. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust centre at Cley serves coffee and light lunches, with a fantastic view over the reserve, and a short walk inland the village of Cley has a wonderful range of unique local businesses, including a deli, a smokehouse, a traditional pottery, a book shop, a gallery and a tea room.

The George Hotel, and the Three Swallows pub on the green opposite the spectacular Church both offer drinks, meals and accommodation
