Tamarisk is a beautiful spacious three bedroom centrally-heated cottage, with a large garden and car parking.
The cottage has an East of England Tourist Board rating of 5 stars

The cottage which was recently refurbished to a high standard, comprises on the ground floor, entrance hall with pamment tiled floor, large comfortable sitting room with french windows to the terrace, open wood burning fireplace and tv, dvd player and freeview satellite tv, dining room with wooden flooring and large refectory table, wood burning stove,cdradio, archway to modern well equipped kitchen with double electric fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, condensor drier washing machine, fridge and separate freezer with access off to the terrace and garden. Internet access should you require it is available in the well stocked village shop.

Beyond the kitchen there is a small hallway off which there is access to a twin downstairs bedroom and shower room with basin and wc

On the first floor which is reached via a staircase from the hall, there is a landing, a large double bedroom, a large twin bedroom, and a bathroom with bath , basin and wc. Outside there is a large secluded charming and well maintained garden extending to almost half an acre including a south west facing terrace with table, chairs and a large parasol. A barbecue is also available.

An oiled fired boiler heats the water and central heating system, there is also a stand-by electric immersion heater.

Linen and towels included

Welcome tray included consisting of milk,sugar, selection of Taylors teas, Taylors cafetiere coffee,and a bottle of wine.

Cleaning essentials such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc included

2 baskets of logs included Oct - end Apr, 1 for open fire in lounge, and 1 for log burner in the dining area. Double bag of self lighting charcoal included for outdoor barbecueing from May - end Sept. Additional supplies can be bought from the village shop.


The front entrance door is off the village High Street and vehicle access to the rear is from Chapel Lane along a short driveway through a gateway to the garden and a gravelled parking area.

Location

Situated in the picturesque North West Norfolk Village of Ringstead, where there is an excellent village shop and pub, an art gallery, antiques shop, garden centre, and church. It is only 2 miles from the coast and the long sandy beaches at Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea, also famous for its nature reserve, and ten minutes drive to the RSPB reserve at Titchwell. Also close by is Sandringham House and forest, and Pensthorpe, home to BBC Springwatch is approximately 25 minutes away.

On the doorstep - a walkers paradise - Peddars Way Coastal Footpath, and Ringstead downs where Marsh Harriers and Buzzards amongst other birds can frequently be seen
5 minutes away by car - Old Hunstanton, Holme Next The Sea, RSPB Titchwell

Ringstead is in a great location 2 miles inland from Hunstanton and Holme next the Sea with their wide sandy beaches.
Ringstead has a pub , The Gin Trap Inn, and a village shop.
The Peddars Way runs nearby and you can also walk on Ringstead Downs. For Golfers there are nearby courses at Hunstanton and Brancaster.
Hunstanton is great for windsurfing and there is sailing along the coast at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe. There are holiday cottages to rent in Ringstead, a great place for a holiday.
