'Captains Rest' is a perfect hideaway for two guests. It has been newly renovated and furnished with care to ensure guests have a wonderful holiday. The bed is big and comfy and has the finest linen. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, microwave & washing machine tumbledryer. The dining table is large enough for friends to join you for a meal and the living area is very stylish. A brand new 'Wet Room' has been created with an excellent shower. The courtyard garden is pretty and is a real suntrap. There is plenty of room for al fresco dining barbeque provided. 'Captains Rest' also has the added bonus of a private parking space which is a prized possession for those that know Blakeney! and the location is just ten seconds from 'The Quay'. Lots of lovely finishing touches including Nina Campbell Toiletries, chocolate truffles, wine and flowers make this the perfect little hideaway so book early whilst we have availability! Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt.

This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife.

Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs.

The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, butchers, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holidaymakers – please follow the links to access local information.

Blakeney is popular with dinghy sailors, bird watchers and walkers, and you can get a real feel for the area by taking a trip to Blakeney Point to see the seals.
