Sculthorpe Moor Community Nature Reserve can be found at the end of Turf Moor Lane,opposite Sculthorpe village on the A148 just outside Fakenham. The Reserve consists of a patchwork of habitats including wet woodland, coppice, reed and sedge beds, open water and wet meadow. It is a haven for wildlife including marsh harriers, water voles, dragonflies, water invertebrates, fungi and fenland flowers.The variety of birds that can be seen and heard on the site during the year will delight bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts will find something new with each visit as the seasons change. Those who enjoy a peaceful walk or a place to sit and think can relax in the tranquil atmosphere.
Entry to the reserve is free and the boardwalks provide good access for everyone including those in wheelchairs and those pushing buggies. Car parking is available and there is a bus stop on the Kings Lynn to Fakenham bus route at the end of Turf Moor Lane. The no. 1 sustrans cycle route passes within 200yards of Turf Moor Lane.
