We now meet at Loades Hall behind the Methodist Church in Holt unless otherwise advertised, on alternate Wednesdays from September to May, meetings commencing at 7.30 pm. New members are welcome - you do not necessarily have to be an active photographer to become a member.

The North Norfolk Photographic Society was formed by local Sheringham photographers in the 1950’s with the object of getting together to compare their work and by discussion and lectures from visiting experts, to improve quality and standards. In the early days most photographs were black and white but with the advent of transparencies, colour slides became predominant and the club involvement more competitive. In more recent times colour prints have become popular, although black and white prints are still an important part of photographic art, and in both prints and slides several members have achieved regional, national and even international recognition.
Currently the membership includes a range of talent from those who are just developing an interest in photography through to acknowledged experts.
Invited speakers cover a wide range of photographic subjects. In the summer, several “out-door” meetings are arranged not only to provide a “focus” for picture taking, but to encourage members and friends to enjoy a good day or evening out in the pursuit of photography.
Come along to see if you like us, non-members pay just £2 per evening, members £1. this includes refreshments
